Government Chief Whip Ruth Nankabirwa has called upon NRM Youth not to treat members of the People Power Pressure group as enemies but competitors.
She made the remarks while addressing Kiboga District Youth Council leaders led by their Chairman, Geoffrey Mutagobwa at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) in Kampala.
The youth leaders called upon her to help them in the fight against the mushrooming People Power youth that they said is giving them headache saying they have lost some of the youths they lead to People Power pressure group, a situation that they need to address before the general elections.
In response, Nankabirwa asked them to fulfill their manifesto and let their works lead the way in winning support.
“The most important thing is to be tolerant. There will be always people who will come and oppose you. You should continue to serve your people and fulfill the manifesto. At the end of the day, you will have the percentage that will make you the winner”, she said.
The People Power pressure group pays loyalty to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi who has announced intentions to stand for the presidency.
