Yesterday high court judge Henrietta Walayo dismissed a case where Kyadondo east legislator Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi wine reported police and the attorney general for violating his right to work by canceling his music shows.

In a rulling, the judge declined to order the police to stop interfering with the legislator’s shows. The judge also said that he (Bobi wine) didn’t prove to the court how the AG and the police banned his show in all the submissions he filed to the court.

In 2017 the musician-cum-politician filled a case to the high court through Ladislaus Rakafuzi claiming that the police had banned his show that was scheduled to happen at colline hotel Mukono but was stopped on claims of security threat.

it was in the same petition that Bobi wine was seeking Shs300 million in compensation for the canceled concerts in Mukono, Kamuli, Kasese, and Kampala.

He also argued that police acted illegally when they restricted his movements within the country and stopped his various shows adding that his rights to work and earn a living had been violated.
