Angry South Sudanese refugees destroy UN items

When the saying of never cut the hand that feeds was said many didn’t get it’s meaning and so did  with Angry South Sudanese refugees in Bidi Bidi settlement who destroyed 10 UNHCR and WFP vehicles plus office items.

This came after allegations of food halt and the long distance walks to food points, the distance where the refugees collect food from is estimated to be 10km from their settlement areas.

Hungry refugees raided food stores, assaulted aid workers, destroyed UN vehicles and stores at the camp.

They said this is a food riot in Bidibidi refugee camp Yumbe District and world should know how we are suffering during Christmas holidays
