After six days the boat that claimed many lives has been retrieved off to the shores by the police along with the UPDF. The divers used car tires and tubes to make sure that the wreckage was removed from the lake. Other tools that have been used to retrieve the wreckage were got from the Uganda railway.
Today morning the assistant inspector of police Brigadier Muzeeyi Sabiiti paid a visit to the Mutiima island to check on the progress on the wreckage.
The police and the marine are still working closely to make sure that the missing person, among the few things that were found on the boat include bags, ids and lady wigs.
