They started with a very poor performance at the play off and now the city oilers are a mile away from being crowned national league champions. This has come as a result of their dedication and intensive training.

The city Oilers beat Betway Powers on Wednesday night with a margin of 11 points, the game ended 83-72 at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.

Having a 3 pointer to his name Omony finished with game high 22 points, Tony Drileba scored 18 points, Komakech and James Okello contributed 13 points apiece.

With only two games lost city oilers only need to win the 5th game which is to be played on Sunday and they will be crowned national basketball league champions for the 6th time.
